My Name is Samantha, I am 52 years old and have spent the majority of my working life in banking. I had worked in all areas of the bank right through to management, but  I no longer felt valued or fulfilled in my role. I wanted and needed a change in my career. I was worried about my age and frightened of failure,  I had also experienced some personal upheavals in my life in the last few years and my self-confidence had taken a huge hit. I felt stuck, scared and worried about changing career at my age.

Anabelle helped me to identify what was holding me back and why I felt the way I did. She worked with me and encouraged me to create a plan to move forward towards my goal of career transition from banking to a new job in the community sector helping people with disabilities. Anabelle was a life saver,  she was always understanding and was patient with me. She then helped me take the steps I needed to take to make all this happen.

 

Working with Anabelle has helped me achieve a fantastic outcome.  I am in the process of completing my Diploma of Community Services, I have been working in the community sector with people with disabilities for the last 6 mths and I love it. I couldn’t be happier I feel valued and fulfilled in my new role and my boss has recently  told me how lucky they are to have me working for them and my self-confidence has returned.  So thank you Anabelle for all your understanding, compassion and support, it made a huge difference in my life.

And to top it all off not once have I second guessed my decision.
